Hmmmm... You didn't give specific examples of what you thought might be flirting. It's very possible he could be if his girlfriend is less than awesome. But be very careful! You don't want to get in the middle of anyone's relationship. Just be polite, but don't act on anything unless he's broken up with his girlfriend. Good luck!

If he acts the same way around his girlfriend of 17 years then he may just be a really friendly guy and perhaps your reading more into this than is being sent out. Sounds like you are jealous of his girlfriend so a good place to start would be to realize that he has been with her for this period of time for a reason and that she must make him happy or he would have kicked her to the curb. Let it be and try and find another male to talk and swim with that is more readily available then your sister in laws brother.

Maybe the reason she pouts is because of him flirting so much, if he flirts in front of her he's not showing her any respect. But it sounds to me that u like him and u may even want to get with him.
I say this because of the negative things u said about her
U said
1. she's not social
2. she never talks
3. all she pouts & try to control him
Maybe the reason she not socialable or talk much is because she feels invisable since him flirts in front of her
And the pout is because she wants him to stop flirting and realize she is with him and he should respect the fact that she here
The control thing maybe her showing that she has to keep in him line since he enjoys flirting.
So since u don't know the real story about him and her ( behind close doors) ur only judging it may what u see
Try putting ur self in her shoes.

clearly his gf is a bummer. but they've been together for 17 yrs rught? he is flirting with you because he sees some excitement when he's with you. but it doesn't mean that he wants to leave his gf. to him you might just be a fling or a person that just makes his blood energized. so forget about him, and stop flirting with him. it won't do you any good.

17 years... he's bored and just needs to feel that excitment from someone else. Don't bother with him... he doesn't want a relationship from you... just the flirting.
