In terms of the most familiar blood typing, A+, A-, B+, B-, AB+, AB-, O+ and O-, you can have children if your blood types are different. There are some combinations with which the baby's blood type might be attacked by the mother's immune system if there is an injury to the placenta which causes the blood of one to come in contact with the other. In some cases of such incompatibility, the baby will require a whole blood transfusion right after it is born. The odds in these pregnancies, especially in the case of first pregnancies, are that the baby will be just fine.

No, that is rediculous. Since most people in the USA has type O blood. From our Indian heritage I guess. it will mix with anything.
My husband has type A negative and I have O positive. So now they have a robagamin shot you can take to keep from losing the baby. But if he was A negative and I was O negative no problem.
Children usually have the same as one or the other of their parents. If you are all native americans and all has type O then chances are the childred will have O. But In the USA people are such a melting pot, that blood tests anymore are not a good way to find out. One family the wife carried her fathers blood type A
Married a man with type A and had a baby with type O.
He wanted a DNA! It perfectly matched him. His wifes mother and that was her blood type O. So they quit using blood types it is just not that reliable anymore.

Not true. You each donate one of your two alleles for the blood type and produce your offspring's blood type.

However, If the husband is Rh+ and the wife is Rh-, a second Rh+ baby may be attacked by the immune response the mother acquired with the first baby. Your Ob/Gyn should check for this and can prevent any negative outcome.

No, and this is still a dumb question. Blood type will not effect whether or not you and someone else can have a baby together. If you're having problems conceiving, you need to see a specialist, not Yahoo! answers.
