A friend of mine recently adopted a dog previously owned by some folks who spoke only Hebrew, so the dog has no idea how to respond to commands in English. Can anyone tell me how to pronounce (phonetically) a few Hebrew words like "stay", "sit", "come here", "lay down" and "heel" ??

stay- "Po", means here
sit- "Shev"
come here- "Bo"
lay down- "Shkav"
heel- more_evil_then_santa is right, and still, I'd say "Acharay", means follow me.

"Shev" - Sit
"Shkav" - lay
"Red" - down
"Bo" - come
"Heel" - no Israeli dog would heel:)
