PROVERBIAL IMPACT:

For attaining wisdom and discipline; for understanding word of insight; for acquiring a disciplined prudent life, doing what is right and just and fair; for giving prudence to the simple, knowledge and discretion to the young; let the wise listen and add to their learning, and let the discerning get guidance – for understanding proverbs and parables, the saying and riddles of the wise. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline. Proverbs1:2-7 (NIV)

Pray for Holy Spirit to help you understand and diligently study God's word. Get to know and use God's personal name as found at Psalm 83:18 in the original King James Bible. Also, try to ascertain who really is the Faithful and Discreet Slave who is dispensing the proper food at the proper time. All these things will truly help.

Read everything you can get your hands on...Exercise your mind as you would your body.

Write poetry, take up an instrament, write stories, be creative.

Meditate, speculate, and divinate. Take up some form of physical workouts, TaiChi, TaiBo, Yoga, swim, jog.

exercise the body and the mind...These are the tools of a path, the other comes with time and work.

Gnostic Theoria has done wonders for me. It's a form of intense contemplation that yeilds a worldly clarity that leaves one thirsty for knowledge. It seems to me that Gnosis is Gods gift to man for the purpose of eleviating fear. The gnostics greatest contributer was Jesus himself (although others may belittle his teachings in life by focusing on his Death.)

The practice of getting and excelling in a formal education. Oh yeah, try to treat people the way you want to be treated and not how you have been treated really makes a difference.
