I think Adam and Eve were Homo sapiens, but when Cain went to the land of Nod, he married Neanderthals.

Adam and Eve were neither homo-sapiens or neanderthals.
They were beings created in the image and likeness of God: having a spirit, soul (intellect, will and emotions) and lived in a physical body.

Dna tests have shown that homo sapiens are not of the same species as neanderthal so they must have been homo sapien

I have my own personal belief that they were Neanderthals, especially if there was talk about them being particularly taller or long lived. I don't know if that's true, but the important thing is that they were different from us as we are right now. Some change must have occured down the road, but the Neanderthals weren't all that different from us.

The genetic Adam and Eve (yes, you can trace geneticially all humand back to one woman about 143,000 years ago and one man about 60,000 years ago - they obviously didn't meet but dut to bottlenecks in the population a couple times) would be Homo sapiens.
Neanderthals went extinct and apparantly left no genetic imprint on us.

Adam and Eve were true humans. So were the Neandethals. You should update your knowledge about the Neanderthals. They are no different from true humans. Don't get suckered in by evolutionary propaganda.

They were humans created physically perfect. They still had to grow spiritually.
By the way-----the Cro-magnom was physically outstanding and far more intelligent than even us. If they had the oppurtunities we do, no telling how far they would have gone with achievements.

So far only God knows that since we've found no evidence. But for sure they weren't Homo sapiens because those are modern humans. :)
