great question..
according to the Bible...because of Adam and Eve we all are accountable for their sin...also the Bible teaches that all have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God....
we are all born into sin...and the wages of sin is death...
as far as a child....yes they are as we all are born into sin...but a child is not held accountable for their sin until they reach a certain age...most ppl believe that to be somewhere around the 12th year....until that time...if a child dies...that doesn't believe...then they aren't held accountable for the sins...
so a child is born into sin...but sin not held against them...at that time....that is why it is important to raise a child in a good Bible believing church...to teach them how to live and how to receive eternal life.....
good luck

We all are born with a sinful nature and under the penalty of the original sin -- death. Everyone dies because through Adam death entered into the human race. Only in the future will death be destroyed; then shall be brought to pass the saying "death is swallowed up in victory, oh death where is thy sting, oh grave where is thy victory".
Theologically, though, because of "prevenient grace" until a child reaches the "age of accountability" if they die (the body dies), the soul/spirit is received into Glory. A bawling baby is not considered as "sinning"; an 8 year old having a temper tantrum MIGHT by some be considered a sinning, as disobeying parents.
Original sin, the sin of Adam and Eve, is very real and results in death of the body. But infants are considered as innocent and so, if they die, are admitted to heaven (or, some would say, to limbo).

man is born with a "sin" nature. It is a baby's natural reaction to be selfish, not do what you ask of them, ect. This is the natural or original sin that all of mankind is born with. Now when ever we talk of a child's "innocence" it refers to the fact that they do not fully comprehend their ways. Like a baby who gets into something it shouldn't. It's not that the baby is meaningfully being bad, rather doesn't know better. It is not purposely defying the rules. Another example of innocence is a baby running around naked. It doesn't have shame or guilt or knowledge of how this might be inappropiate or wrong. so both kind of go hand in hand, but not really. hope this helps.

It is the nature of the beast to confizzle you. Once thoroughly confused only the church can save you. We are created in god's image, so say the confizzlers, and even though god is without sin somehow we mysteriously get "original sin" when we are born. Without this sin I can only presume there would be no need for a god to save us from that sin. Personally I think God is laughing his butt off reading all of this stuff. I was raised Catholic, I not only do not practice the religion I think it is a bunch of....fill in the blanks.

Despite what many of the posts say, children do have to be taught to be selfish and they are also taught to lie. This is a basic psychological principal, children before a certain age do not lie. Many civilizations exist to prove this. Many were confused when colonizers said things that were not true. Children are born with few instincts, basic survival (not greed--that's learned later).

We're all born with the inheritance of the sin nature. Children are innocent until they reach an age of accountability, and only God knows what that age is in each one of us.

It's all in the realm of Oppinion. you'll here arguments for both sides each equally relevant. All I know is that 'origional sin' is the thought form of st. Augustine who couldn't understand how a loving God could let Rome Fall. So even that doctrin started as one mans oppinion.

Loved your use of the word "confizzled." should be in the dictionary. As for your question, I think that is contradictory like so much else in the bible. If anybody wrote such things in a medical or scientific journal they would be ridiculed.
Spell check tells me I should spell confizzled as cornfield. Just thought I'd tell you so you could get it right next time.

Every person ever born except Jesus, because his Father is God, is born sinful, since Adam sinned, he passed that sin onto everyone of his offspring. That is why even children die, even at birth, because Adam could only pass on sin and death, every person that dies, including children must wait in death for God through Christ Jesus to be resurrected back to life. So, it is hypocritical for certain Christians to say that children are born innocent free of sin and at death immediately go to heaven.
