yes but its not the whole story. God is at the center of Salvation, not man... a similar passage in Micah says He has shown you oh man what to do and what does the Lord require of you, but to do justice and to LOVE MERCY and to walk humbly with your God... but not just do mercy but to love mercy... takes heart as we say in New York...
ya gotta have heart!!!!
so part of the duty of keeping the commandments is the delight in them... part of the duty is delight
part of the commands are to emotions...be thankful, rejoice, delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your hear
interestingly Jeremiah when he spoke of the new covenant said it was NOT LIKE the covenant given in Egypt..the law on stones written by the finger of God... this time it will be the law on hearts written by the finger of God
the problem is in a very real sense we are helpless is need of God to breath that life into us, to change the hearts, to make us willing, to help us not just have a mechanical duty, but to make it our delight and just as the entire generation of ault leaving Egypt crossing the red sea died in the dessert although they saw the miracles and ate the manna they needed changed hearts from God and only two, Joshua and Caleb entered the land and that by faith

The verses you quote are correct, but they do NOT mean what you are saying they mean. There is no such thing as an immortal soul. Souls DIE. Eze 18:4 Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall DIE. The penalty for sin is eternal DEATH. Not eternal life in a burning torture. Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is DEATH; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. You should take your own advice and read the whole book.

The bible also tells us "to do justice, love kindness and to walk humbly with your God" (Michah 6:8). Walking humbly doesn't imply fear. The God of the new testemant is more about love than fear. Our duty is to love one another (the ultimate commandment).

Yes: this is duty of Man and Woman...
Yes people hate Good Knowledge, only few are chosen...
This world would a better place if people would fear GOD, the one who made Man in his image....
Everything in this world is meaningless ......

Rather a strange concept, don't you think? To fear God, I mean. From what I have heard, God is supposed to be all loving, all understanding and all forgiving. What the hell is there to be afraid of?

the bilble says the same thing on every page, IN MY OPINION. That simple message is "fear me and carry out my will, or you will burn in 'hell'".
Hope this helps :)
