It depends. Sin is a deliberate thought, word, deed, or omission contrary to the eternal law of God.
If you are a vegetarian because of "good" reasons then, no, it is not sinful.
If you are a vegetarian because of "bad" reasons like "giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils" then, yes, you would be in trouble.
With love in Christ.

No, that is a prophecy concerning the apostate church that was soon to rise that would make a rule against eating meat on certain days. It also said that apostate church would forbid to Marry.
Paul was warning of those religious leaders who would make rules about such things in order to remain in good standing in the church.
As far as being a vegetarian, it is the choice of the individual whether to eat meat or not. The church cannot make any rule forbidding such things.

It is properly "Vegetarian" or "Vegan", and no, it is not a sin to abstain from eating meat or animal products.
It is, however, sinful to try and force others to comply with such a diet under the guise of "Christian spirituality". That is called "false religion", aka "lying about God".

This scripture is saying that many people will leave the faith believing the lies of some teaching that it is wrong to eat meat and other foods and that it is wrong to marry...I am sure you can find out what "religion" that is if you search...it seems that we have a great incline in a "vegetarian boom" already.

Sometimes it seems like almost anything is a sin---playing cards, having a beer, or going vegan. I, personally, can't see God taking the time to care about petty things such as these.

No. In the context of this verse, it is saying there will be false teachers in the latter days....and it goes on to say these false teachers will say, in essence, if you eat anything other than vegetables, you're sinning....which of course is not so.

No being a vegetarian is not a sin. God created animals for our use (but not for us to abuse) .....if we decide not to eat them, thats fine.
....Holy crap people chill out. So they spelled a word wrong...you all knew what he / she meant anyway. why is it such a big deal??
