Maybe a trip to your vet is in order. It's unusual for a 7 week old kitten to have a urinary tract infection, but it's always possible. Take this opportunity to schedule a vet appointment to get her first set of shots, deworming, in general provide her the chance for a healthy start on life.

Don't take chances!! Kitten needs immediate care!!

NORMAL URINE: Urine should be yellow.

1. Red/Dark Orange - Severe sign. Severe at-risk, must be seen immediately.

2. Dark yellow/almost brown - Extreme dehydration or bilirubin in urine. Either way it’s BAD! Needs immediate aggressive treatment.

3. Intense yellow - Concentrated urine. Animal is not getting enough fluid for total body hydration. Needs immediate care.

4. Yellow - Mildly concentrated urine. Monitor closely and if ANY other signs, seek care immediately.

5. Light yellow - Mildly dilute urine. Overall body hydration should be adequate if no kidney disease. With sick/injured or at-risk animals, this is the color we shoot for.

6. Pale yellow - Dilute urine. Hydration should be excellent if no kidney disease. With any significantly debilitated or severe risk animal, this is the color we shoot for. Be aware however of possible over-hydration and keep urine this color, only if under medical care.

7. Almost clear - Severely dilute urine. Risk of over-hydration. Urine should only be this dilute if under constant medical supervision

he may have a UTI urinary tract infection,if he is urinating often and there is a very large amount or very little each time he goes, also you also may notice crystal like deposits in the litter after he goes pee.
in which case you need to take him to the vet for anti-biotic.

or he is not drinking enough water and it is causing his urine to be stronger then normal and it is burning him.

You didn't really need to ask this question, you are wasting time. A 7 week old baby kitten who cries when she urinates needs to see the vet immediately. Please don't make her wait any longer, that is just mean and inconsiderate.

I wonder what makes you ask this question in Yahoo.
Cat cries are not meows, for sure if you hear it, something is wrong and this means taking to the vet immediately.

My kitten would cry whenever it pooped or ate food. It stopped after awhile. Maybe call the vet before you take it in.

Crystals in urine or a urinary tract infection. This can be avoided in future by feeding it pet food with low ash content, such as science diet or as prescribed by a vet. And please, get it to a vet immediately.

Yes, bring it to the vet asap to be on the safe side. I just brought my older cat and the vet said he could die if he doesn't take his pills and change his diet. Good luck!
