Are you sure it's a stye? My Chihuahua had that and it turned out to be what the vet called a small cherry eye, which means that her tear duct in that eye doesn't function well as she has some extra skin there, it comes and goes but doesn't seem to bother her much the vet said if it got too big we would have to get it removed. If you are sure it is a stye I agree with the others a warm compress should help. Good Luck.

I miss my Dachshund so much, the ex has it.

Put a warm, wet washcloth on it. The dog will like the warmth and also the warmth increases the bloodflow to the area. Maybe a dry heatpad if the dog doesn't like the dampness.

Put a warm compress on it. You might find that the dog will like it because it will feel good.
