Why is it that so many supposedly Christians think God won't send them to Hell? There seems to be zero tolorance for the word NO. I have noticed this especially true when it come to homosexuals.God, and neither does Christians hate homosexuals.I don't hate murders neither, and being a jail minister I have seen a few find forgiveness, and I gladly except them as my Brothers and Sisters now.But they can't continue to murder. When we are born again our old self must come into the subjection of the New Man.We must walk in the Spirit and not in the flesh. If there is Christians out there that hate anyone that is a sin to,but telling or revelling ones sin is Biblical ( Matt. 18:15-20 )and doesn't mean they hate that person.I tell my children when they do wrong because I do love them.By this will men know that you are my disciples. That you have LOVE one for another. Please reply in a spiritual manner.

People who have not yielded to God's love and direction do not like being told what is wrong in certain arenas. Look at the story of Balaam. God did not want him to go, Balaam insisted. It eventually caused Israel to sin and Balaam to get bribe money from the king.

"walk in love" has become the focal point of most churches, when holiness should be center. We have lost sight of God's glory, looking at His hands instead of His face.
The age of offense is the biggest reason why churches won't go directly to the truth, regardless of its need. Pastors are worried they will leave, when they are not much better sitting in the pews without the power of the Holy Spirit. Satisfied with going to heaven but refusing total victory, some become useless for His kingdom.
Love requires actions, it requires toughness. We need not be toothless, but warriors and conquerors.

Yes, I have also noticed that people claim that the King James version of the bible is the true translation, but then say that Thou Shalt Not Kill was mistranslated from Thou Shalt Not Murder in order to validate war. People should practice what they preach, not try to find looopholes...

I believe in god and I love him, and I try to follow all bible principals and the ten commandments, but I do not believe in your everlasting pits of hell. My God is loving and kind and he would not make anyone suffer for a eternity just because you refused to worship him. Do you think it fair that if you live to be 70 years of age and was a sinner, but then you spend a eternity in hell suffering? My God is a just and fair God. Nothing is fair about that. The word Hell, means GRAVE. We all go to hell when we die. Telling sinners that they are doomed to the pits of a hell fire is not love, or truthful. The wages sin pays is DEATH, not everlasting life in hell fire. Don't you think it would be a much kinder and loving and just God, if you were simply not to ever exist in his memory ever again. To me that would be a eternal torment. To know that I could never again exist and to be wiped from God's memory. The bible tells us that burning of one has never even entered his mind.Jer. 7:31 God has not changed. When the wicked are cast into the lake of fire that does mean the second death. Not a second birth just to suffer forever in hell.

It is all the "Thou shalt not"s that show us we are sinners in need of Christ! When we are saved by the blood of Christ, we no longer fear Hell as God gave us eternity! When God gives the gift of salvation it is once and for good. I no longer have to work my way to heaven, which I could never do anyway! If I stumble and sin now, I do not loose Gods gift of grace, I only hurt my current relationship with God! I ask for forgiveness and go on, knowing my salvation is eternal!

wow several questions in one...well lets see....
1st. "supposedly Christians" ..either you are a Christian or your not..only our Father knows the truth on that one..being a follower of the the Lords Christ doesn't make someone perfect..but the Holy Spirit convicts our hearts to the sin we commit..and we can repent for it...
2nd. as for homosexuals and murders....God doesn't distinguish between levels of sin....in His eyes....SIN IS SIN ...there is no greater or lesser sin..."for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God"
3rd..as long as there is life ...anyone no matter what can ask for forgiveness for their sins....as long as its a true conviction on their spirit...that's why Jesus paid the price for us ..
4th...God loves us...he proved it it the garden .....he proved it to the Jewish nation many times and will at the battle of Armageddon...in the end days...God our Father loves each and every one of us...its sin that he cant stand...but that's why he gave us His Lamb...as a sacrifice to make us holy in His eyes....

How I see the whole picture, Adam & Eve had a beautiful garden to live in, God came down in the evenings to spend time with them, He really loves people! But when Adam & Eve did wrong, mankind was "cursed". So Jesus came down and died for us that we have a chance to go up there in Heaven to live with him! How awesome is that! We never was created or intended to be able to go to Heaven! Then to think people get mad at God is really puzzling to me!

You are a jail minister? I thought cruel and unusual punishment was forbidden by law. Where did you study theology?
