You eat like crazy? What does that mean to you though, what do you eat? No, stress does not make you lose weight. Stress makes you not eat, which in turn makes you lose weight or just the opposite. If you are eating like crazy and eating the right amount of calories for your height and frame then there is a problem. Thyroid- over active, or something else. New doctor, second opinion. Track what you eat for a few days and then ask again, if you are not satisfied - second opinion time.

I've been informed approximately 10000 instances that I'm no longer a Real Christian (TM) due to the fact my ideals do not fall in with the extremist occasion line. I percentage a few of your perspectives. I maintain citizenship in an earthly country (the United States). There are many paths to God. I take side in each Christian and non-Christian rites. I am no longer petrified of non-Christian impacts. I refuse to make use of my faith as an excuse for bigotry and hatred. Anyway, congratulations for no longer looking to shove the Divine right into a one-measurement-suits-all field.

Your thyroid could be over active. I had that problem for awhile and didn't realise it. I lost 100lbs, I kept brusing horribly. I looked like someone took a bat to my legs. Once it was corrected, my throid took a different route now is borderline too slow. I did notice that someone made a diabetes connection. I have blood sugar problems, so that could be part of the issue too. Definitely talk to your Dr.

I don't know if this will help you at all, but I've heard that when you have a fast metabolism, the more meals you eat, the more fuel you are giving your metabolism to work more. So in the end, you are just giving it more and more to burn. I've heard that in those cases, you should have less meals, but have them be heavier. I don't really know... I'd say, seek for another doctor. Best of Luck

Maybe you have a naturally fast metabolism, and stress has exaggerated this fast metabolic rate. Maybe you have an overactive thryroid gland or diabetes. You probably need some blood tests to see the levels of insulin/glucose/thyroxine etx in your blood.

Ask your doctor if you should be tested for hyperthyroidism. Your thyroid gland is what regulates your metabolism, and if it breaks down your food too fast, then that will cause severe weight loss.
Sounds like what you are having.
(By the way, whoever said it was diabetes... diabetes makes you gain weight because you dont have enough enery to burn it off, not lose weight.)

If your doctor has not done any tests to rule out illness, then you need to get a second opinion. If he/she has tested you and you're not diabetic or have a thyroid problem or anything... it just might be stress.
