Yes!
The bible says "This is the confidence we have in Him that if we ask anything according to His will,He hears us. And as He hears us we KNOW we have the petitions that we desire of Him"
Yes, God hears us when we pray. He answers our prayers.

That's very debatable. It's been "proven" that it doesn't work in Skeptic magazine through a very long number of arduous and well-thought out tests. However, I believe Jesus said (esp. to Satan) that God's powers were not to be tested. It could be rationalized that the prayers did not work in the tests because God knew of the testing, and instead let those who were being prayed for die and enter the afterlife in peace.

much depends on what you are praying for
if you expect god to give you something that will be bad for you .like money ,or if you pray for god to do that you are too lazy to do for your self you are wasting gods time and yours
god wants to do amasing things for you you cant do for your self
but selfuish prayer dies as soon as you speak it
say you pray god [please dont let that person die ,but that persons suffering in the flesh has earned comming to heaven again you are wasting time
dont be selfish ,dontr be greedy ,dont oprasyer for vengince nor greed and prayers will recieve answer ,but you some times have to accept god knows best and trust that this is best,
prayer that whines ,complains just wont go the distance, the best prayer is in your heart
gosd cant help till you ask
humble your self and god can achieve anything good,
dont even think to expect god to do evil or that morally wrong or hurtfull or unjust

I saw a study a few years ago in the readers digest that was conducted with some hospitals or medical situations. Been a while I forget the details). But they showed a dramatic difference in improvement for people who were prayed for over people who weren't even when they were unaware that they were being prayed for). I wish I had kept that issue for your benefit.

properly, it relies upon on the variety you seem at it. mutually as human beings have been praying, they have not engaged in different stupid futile activity which will easily reason harm or harm. and that i assume some human beings would have grew to become to 3 different opium, alongside with drink or drugs to convenience themselves. so which you ought to declare that throughout a roundabout way it would have. in spite of the undeniable fact that we are able to't ascertain. yet has any prayer ever resulted interior the intercedence of a supernatural being? No.

Prayer does work, you have to believe first though, which is why some kid up there named Larry says he was a Christian and prayed for years, he probably didn't believe, or didn't have Jesus in his heart, the bible tells us some people claim to be Christian and they aren't really

Yes, yes, oh yes!! But God has designed a protocol for how to pray: iaw there are some rules to be followed. If you don't do it His way, your prayers won't go any higher than the ceiling. It works for me...

Most definitely. Our mind is the most powerful tool we have. Remember we have our spirit guides that help us when we ask, (guardian angels) but prayer if anything gives you strength and confidence. Peace and love be with you.

It alleviates the responsibility from yourself to perform an action. It makes you feel better when you have an altruistic prayer. It puts the onus on God to perform for you, and if he doesn't, then its his will.
It is the morphine drip that keeps this anesthetic of the masses called Xtianity going strong for 2 millenia now.

This is a question that only YOU can determine. There is no answer for this question. Prayer is not somethign that "works". You have to just have faith and NOT question prayer because "nothing is stronger than the power of prayer" . So you can either have "faith" and "know"(beleiving is for people who arent sure, and knowing is for people who are sure)!! or talk to GOD or look to the Bible.
- God Bless
