Hi there, yes you will need to see a dentist to have the this tooth assessed especially via a radiograph

I am interested to know how long ago this incident took place? Knowing this piece of information would make a diagnosis a lot easier.

A pink tooth could be a sign of haemorrhage however the colour is usually of a dark brown - greyish hue and not PINK.

A pink round region in the tooth is a rare feature and is usually due to a phenomena known as internal resorption where a hole is essentially forming inside the tooth with associated bleeding that gives the tooth the pink appearance. This is a rare complication of dental trauma and the aetiology is still not confirmed, although it is believed to be caused by the death of cells which once laid down the organic tissue from which your teeth mineralised from; odontoblasts. Trauma is one of the more prominent factors implicated to this

I suggest that you go see a dentist about this because if the tooth is indeed undergoing internal resorption then you will want to halt the process.

It's possible that you are experiencing some bleeding in the tooth. This would explain the pink tint. My daughter had a similar impact to a front tooth, it was pink for a day or two, then went to gray. See your dentist, either way. If the discoloration doesn't fade, the dentist can help you with it.

THE TRAUMA SUFFERED AS A RESULT OF THE BLOW TO YOUR TOOTH HAS CAUSED SMALL BLOOD VESSELS INSIDE THE FORMERLY LIVING TOOTH TO BREAK. THIS HAS CAUSED THE COLOR. YOUR DENTIST NEEDS TO ASSESS THE CONDITION OF YOUR TOOTH AND MAKE SURE THERE IS NO HORIZONTAL OR VERTICAL ROOT FRACTURE. IN EITHER CASE IT'S PROBABLE THAT ROOT CANAL TREATMENT WITH INTERNAL BLEACHING MAY BE NEEDED TO REMOVE THE PINK FROM THE TOOTH.

See your dentist right away. The internal bleeding shows serious trauma. Your dentist can take x-rays and check to see what needs to be done.
