This seems to happen all the time in this catagory, which is why I always go back and vote for my own question. You'd be surprised how often you can get best answer because the goddies are so lazy, they never bother to pick a winner.

Yes
Yes
And again I say YES!

So often I see what seems to be a heartfelt question but then it goes to a vote. It doesn't make sense to me. So often what gets chosen as Best Answer is anything but a Best Answer.

However, some Askers have stated that they weren't allowed to pick a Best Answer.

When I check a person's profile I will often cast a vote if I see there are questions In Voting. I hope others will do the same for me.

personally, i take great delight in going back at a later time and reviewing the answers. sometimes it is difficult to decide, there are so many good answers.

and yes it does bother me when and answer i have given goes to a vote

seems like there should be some kind of a penalty if answers are given and they are automatically put up for a vote

it would be a different situation if the asker chose to have the question put up for a vote

Yeah, it makes me wonder if some think this is just fun and games and they like to waste peoples' time. Most people answer a question within the first hour, so i don't understand how they ( Questioners ) can't have time to decide a best answer or if they're even reading the answers.

Unfortunately , you may be on to something.

If your looking for a answer to conform to your lifestyle, you may need to look further.

If you want TRUTH, stic around, There are a few...I say very few....people that will in fact, TELL you Truth.

I could care less about yahoo points. hahahahaha

I have read NO WHERE....my salvation is determined by: Yahoo.

.[Edit].

My friend, if your looking for Truth, be careful what you "accept" as Truth on this forum.

The BIG yahoo "point" appears to have over ridden Truth.

I'll tell you Truth. If it hurts, then is just hurts. pure and simple.

.[Edit]

YOUR picking a answer does not mean, it's right. It simply means, this is what you agree with.

1/3 of mankind will be in heaven. 2/3 of mankind will not be in heaven.

That means what? 2/3 of people, will disagree with my answer. hahahahah I could give a cat's meow.

Good Q*.

Well I like putting good thoughtful answers in anyway. You can't redeem your points for anything, so what is the point of getting best answer? You only feel proud of yourself. But in this section, I get best answer a lot. I haven't been here long, but when I have a good answer, I always get best answer.

I never thought about going back and voting for myself. LOL I honestly don't think about the points or best answer when I post on here.

Well, it doesn't bother me that people don't vote so much as what that indicates. To me, that shows that they didn't even go back to read the answer at all. Why bother asking then?

Eh. I try to pick best answers, but sometimes I can't decide, and I have a crazy schedule so I can't always get to them in time. (It actually bugs me more to have my own questions go to vote and then have something ridiculous picked as best...)

yes it's annoying. i put in some effort to find specific info on taxes in korea, only to find the voters have overwhelmingly chosen the other answer, which was just b.s.
