good question.
Here is the good answer.
He made man perfect, man chose sin, man brought upon himself and his posterity flawed sin nature.
God provides us a choice, to choose Christ and be forgiven, or to choose evil and stay flawed for eternity.
Man makes his choices, God judges.
Without that there would be no justice-
imagine a world where Hitler and Mother Tereisa have the same fate,
No justice...
But that is not true, God is just, the evil men will get what they chose (hell), the saved will be spared and shown mercy and love forever.

As answered previously, God did not create flawed people. God created man in the image of himself. In perfection. But also with choice. It was man who sins and brought along the 'flawedness' (is there such a word?).
As to judgement, God does not judge the person, but his/her actions. It's like everything we do, being religious choices or shopping choices. It's all our choice. We make the decisions in life, so we can't blame other people or God for things that do go wrong.
God is fair. There is a road we can take, that leads us to forgivesness for our mistakes. That is Jesus Christ.
Make your choice today, and you won't feel so 'flawed'.

Not sure where you got your PAT answers. I agree with you that 'Pat' answer are not the way to go. Peoples questions are real concerns. Questions that trouble them. 'Pat' answers just show a lack of concern and love for the person who asked the question. Sad to hear that you no longer 'believe'. If I knew you, I would suggest you attend another church to see if you can find the 'answers' you were looking for.
Not all who profess to know Christ actually know Him.

First of all, God didn't create flawed people. He created perfect human beings, and gave them the power of choice. It's like parenthood - you know your kids are going to do some pretty crazy things sometimes, but you still want them! When you do get them, you love them sooo much! God does really want us to become more like Him so we won't be flawed, and we can live with Him forever! =)

First, I want you to know that I respect your question, and I hope you can respect my answer.
We had the choice to sin, and we chose it (if you feel like you would have made a different choice, ask yourself how YOU would have responded if you were being told that God just didn't want you to be as knowledgeable as He is... the original sin was something we've become more addicted to, not less - the sin of needing to have control and free will).
A lot of people ask questions from one perspective only. They only see that God punishes the bad. They don't see that He offered a free way out of that punishment, or that He gave up the most important thing to Him in Heaven, Earth or Hell so that we could escape that punishment. Yes, God made us, and yes, we are flawed. I can honestly admit that I don't know if He was responsible for our ability to sin, if it was really in our best interest (how would you feel if He was in charge and didn't even give you the opportunity to do what you wanted, if what you wanted was something He considered sinful?), or if "the devil made me do it" holds any merit.
God also gave us a way out of the judgement. He watched while His own son was killed, sacrificed for our benefit. He gave everything, and what He asks of us is to accept His gift and then He gets to listen to us ungrateful mortals complaining about how He didn't give us any choice, and how dare He think he's important enough to create us to be His little puppets on earth, being nice to those who worship Him, and punishing those who stand up to Him.
He created us. It is thanks to Him that we even exist. When you consider all He's given you (life, probably loved ones and friends, a home, enough food and health care to keep you healthy, being lucky enough to be born at a time of indoor plumbing and pizza delivery), it's really not that much to ask that we follow the rules, is it?

If you knew all that was, is and will be, If you had absolute dominion over all existence, all dimensions, the universe, billions of stars, planets, etc, would you create a tiny group of primitive little hominids, stick them on some out of the way planet, make a POINT out of giving them free will, hand them a lot of confusing rules concerning who you were, how you were supposed to be worshiped, faith, etc, then disappear and watch them turn your experiment into a chaotic bloodbath for then next ten thousand years?
Makes incredible sense doesn't it?
God is an imaginary concept created by humans. What we do here is up to us, and nobody will judge us except ourselves.
Scary huh?

God created perfect people with free will - Adam and Eve who chose to sin separating themselves from God...
With reproduction this is passed on to each person..
God doesn't judge flaws he judges on the fact that we are not in relationship with him.

God created perfect people. Through original sin; humanity as a whole became flawed. We are now weak, and exposed to temptation. But No one can know how God will judge us individually until the end.

We could ask the same of many parents who are perfectionist. Why should they have kids if it is impossible for anyone to meet their unattainable high standards. Why marry someone who is high maintenace and demanding of all your time & money that has a line of Xs you can never measure up too? At least God gives us mercy, grace, forgiveness and a way out of all problems thru Him and most of all, He gives Eternal Life to each one that has a relationship with Him. God gave us the Way to be perfect and righteous in His Eyes by believing and having faith in Jesus Christ. Christians are perfect in God's Eyes because He only sees the Blood, not the flawed human flesh that we are.

It's called free will. God didn't create flawed people, but let them make decisions for themselves.
