I am engaged to an army reserves soldier who was in Iraq and had a relationship with an engaged woman while there. She broke off the relationship after they returned to the States and she married her fiance. That was 2 years ago. In the meantime, my fiance has proposed to me 3 months ago after we had been dating a year and 9 months. He is still in contact with the woman via email. When I asked him recently if he had told her we were engaged, he said that he didn't remember if he did or not. I emailed the other woman myself and told her. She said that he hadn't told her about it. Should I be worried that he is not over her yet?

well i don't see how you can not be worried, i may be out of line here but why would he still be emailing or anything else with this woman. Sorry i am a little old fashioned when it comes to things like this. And as for the woman once a cheater always a cheater.

I don't know how to touch any subject to do with war even though he probably didn't experience any kind of real trauma. War people/Army people are different than most kinds of people.
