If you read the KJV of the Bible in GENESIS, you will find that GOD said to Noah when they exited the ark HE told Noah and his family "Be fruitful and multiply and REPLENISH the Earth."
this statement makes sense because everyone had been killed in the flood other than noah's fam. so they were given the task of replenishing.
The definition of replenish is: "to fill AGAIN"
something that needs filling that once was, but is now empty
Why then, did GOD say the same thing to Adam and Eve if they were the first humans?
Shouldn't it have been said "be fruitful and multiply and FILL the Earth"??? Not REPLENISH???

I believe that there were other humans before Adam and Eve. Do some research on the web with the key words Pre-Adamic Race. In order for Cain to have found a wife to marry, there would have had to of been other people. I believe that Adam and Eve were the first people chosen by God and put into the garden of Eden. The creation story says that God created man. It is later in the story that he is given the name Adam.

You have mentioned that God said "Be fruitful and multiply..." to Noah and his family, NOT Adam and Eve. Noah and his family came much later than our first ancestors Adam and Eve and because everyone had died (as you have mentioned as well), Noah and his family were given the responsibility to replenish, not Adam and Eve.

My bible doesn't say that. I'm Catholic. I don't use the KJV because it's incomplete. Adam and Eve were the first people, whether you believe their actual names were Adam and Eve is irrelevant.
