They go through banks, which have no problem converting foreign currency to USD. Like almost all banking nowadays, it is mainly an electronic transaction.

They achieve the American dream, coming here basically with nothing, because they have been taught the principles of success, and they choose to apply them. Immigrating to the United States from another country, is a change that requires a fairly high amount of determination, goal-orientation, persistence, courage. Therefore, if you were to be able to test people for these type of character qualities (and there is no better test than the hard-knocks world of real life), I guarantee that you will find a disproportionately high amount of these qualities, in immigrants contrasted with their fellow-countrymen who remained behind in the country from which they came. Success does not happen to people by accident, by luck, by getting the big "break," by robbing someone else; it happens as a result of persistence, dedication, knowing what one wants in life and going after it diligently, seeing it in one's mind's eye before it ever becomes reality. They apply their good character qualities and become wealthy through the successful, progressive application of their God-given minds, bodies and (most importantly) spirits. Any time a person achieves a noteworthy goal in life, be sure of this: one hundred (100.00 ) percent of the time, it was achieved through diligent application of the principles of success, which are timeless, eternal truths that are not taught in most schools. Wealth results whenever a person adds value to something, that was not there before.

They are not afraid of hard work. Unlike most Americans! I work with a guy who comes from India, he works 2 jobs, as does his wife, and their son goes to school and also works a full time job as well. They are PAYING for their own home. A nice one too.
