Yes. I've met several polite criminals and know a couple of them personally. Note that not all criminals are the type that would rob you at gunpoint, kill you or rape you. There are less violent criminals too.

There are all types of criminals and all types of crimes. Yes I have met a few who were very polite. It is the ones that are polite and respectable looking that don’t get caught. They weren’t the type to rob you at gunpoint (or even owned a gun) or rape you but they were real criminals who robbed people almost every day. •

Ah, yes, those sweet serial killers. He stabbed me with a fork, but he's really quite the teddy bear. I like those serial killers that try to kill you with biscuits. So cute!

I know one. He's the sweetest guy in the world, he just has a lot of mental issues and addictions that he can't get under control.
