i wager that is extra of a reaction adverse to the familiar thoughts about God than something else. It ultimately all comes from lack of know-how on their area, and from syncretism, contradicting thoughts, and literal, thoughtless interpretation of the Bible from the Christian area. 2 examples: a million. The biblical image of God as Jehovah of Armies, because the tribal god the historic Hebrews needed to have on their area and strive against on their wars adverse to The Enemies of Israel. of route, God wasn't delighted by that idea, and this replaced into thoroughly denounced by prophets. A proper idea is that of the Messiah that the Jews were waiting for in the course of the cases of Jesus. they did not favor a non secular chief, they needed a protection force one. they did not favor to loose themselves from sin, yet from the Roman Empire. 2. A triumphing Roman Catholic idea of an anthropomorphic god. sure, that previous guy (given a male gender, inspite of God being genderless) from the sky, who loved to clutter with people. Inherited from the grecorroman god said as Zeus or Jupiter. the guy who looks in Michelangelo's in call for portray "The creation of Adam".
