I have been thinking about Khia, pronounced like the car Kia, My husband thinks its weird but we want a name that is unique (not ghetto with overly used y's ad t's) I think Khia is cute but now I couldn't use Sara as a middle name, it would be too much like the cell phone. Anyone have any suggestions on whether or not Khia is stupid? I know it is my decision on what I name my child and someone is going to say something completely dumb but I am used to it. I just want to know what others think. I dont really want to talk to my family about it because there are too many people that would want to be involved. Keepin it simple!

I like Khia a lot! Not "dumb" at all. I think Khia Saraen (sare-een) would be pretty. Then you could still use a variation of Sara! You know "serene" only spelled "saraen" to get the "Sara" in. I think it would be sing-songy with any last name.

My sons name is Rhodry (hes 6), and hes best friends name is Aegan. People are opting for more individual names these days so why not join in? I think Khia is beautiful and unique. I hope that whatever you choose will make you all very happy, Good Luck!

I think Khia is a great name! Wish my fiancee was as open-minded on names.. he veto'd Gemini and Hazel :( I would definately go with Khia, it's really pretty.

I have a friend named Kia and she is lovely. I think it is Danish or Nordic in background. Khia Grace sounds really pretty, nice but not too common. I think you should go for it!

I think khia is a good name. Some of my faves are Ciera Fayeth, Serena Fayeth, Mackenzie, maddison, ...... Khia sounds good with nicole .... khia nicole, khia Elizabeth, khia faith .... Good luck =-)
