I have two Yorkies, but I don't put collars on them because their hair gets tangled very easily. Yorkies are bad about getting knots in their hair especially if it isn't brushed everyday. So, if the dog will be brushed regularly I don't think it matters even if it is a boy. If not, I would say no collar.

I wouldn't put a diamond collar on a dog in the first place, but it's not like the dog is really going to care if you put one on him (unless it's uncomfortable).

Would you put a diamond necklace on a baby? No. So why put a diamond studded collar on an unintelligent dog(no offense) where it could just get it dirty?

I don't like diamond collars on dogs. I think they're stupid. The dog doesn't care and if it gets turned around and the dog is pulling at their leash, it could get uncomfortable for the dog.

Um no, my dog's not a capitalist, he's a socialist and he's quite attached to his cheap little blue collar that he's worn for the last 2 yrs.

I wouldn't. Plus it's probably not worth it because the diamonds might come off and it would look funky.
