God had created us with "desire" , it belongs to the spiritual world.
This is the "desire" which will lead us towards good or evil. It needs to be educated with religion so as to refrain it from doing evil. As we all know the Satan will be ever ready to mislead and seduce our desire to follow their evil act against the God. It is God's intention as to set trial on each individual as how faithful they are. This is our choice as to choose to be faithful to the God or to follow the evil, as all our soul will return to where it belongs, we have no way to run. The choice of Heaven or Hell is solely in our own hand, The "desire" in us to believe or not and to follow either Good or Evil.

No..God gave us freewill because we are different and it would be like your mom shopping for you! God gave us a free choice when Adam and Eve fell into sin and if God made the deiscion for you would that be true commitment?

Think in a smaller term, your parents for instance. Would you want your parents making all your life choices for you? Same as with god, being an intelligent parent ( we are gods children ) god gave us the ability to think and choose for ourselves without god thinking and choosing for us. Do you always want to be told what to do or do you like to make your own choices.

He chose to give you free will because because He loves you! John 3:16
If you love someone you give them freewill to choose. And that is what He gave us free will to choose His Son and live or free will to choose sin and die.

Being loved by force is not really being loved. We have to have a choice of loving God or not for the Love to be true and real.
