The best place to start your search is at the breed club website for each of those dogs. Read the sites from beginning to end, including all the links that are offered to you. I'll give you the links and also one that explains what a reputable breeder should do and stand for. Congratulations on wanting to pick a good breeder for your dogs!

Good luck finding a breeder in LA, better buy one right now if you find one. With your new nasty mandatory spay/neuter law the good breeders are mostly in hiding with their dogs.

You all should have been fighting it, now it will slowly drift eastward. Your state is pretty much lost to the animal hating animal 'rights' groups.

go to petfinder.com.....this is a site for rescue groups.....just enter your Zip code, and be AMAZED at how many great choices you have !!.....i recently adopted a Great Pyrenees mix from them, and my dog Sylvester is awesome !!.....check it out.....try it.....do a good deed.....adopt a puppy today !!!.....good luck to you, in your search for a puppy as a new pet !!!!.....most adoptions run between $ 50 to $ 200 maximum, for a wonderfull dog, that will be happy to be your new pet !!!
