Hello, I was wonering about how long each buzzing number is. I know 1 is the shortest but what number does it go up to? I need to know how many inches long each number is in order to properl make my haircut decision. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!!!!!!!!

All these figures are AVERAGE, each company that makes them are "off" just a bit even though they say the sizes are "standard"
#1 is 1/8 th inch
#2 is 1/4 inch
#3 is 3/8 inch
#4 is 1/2 inch
#6 is 3/4 inch
#8 is 1 inch
Some companies make a #10 which is about an 1 1/2 inch

sorry, no pics available, but here is a chart which represent the length most of the clippers attachment blade will leave on you head: 000000 = 0.1 mm 0.250 inch (blade with no guard) 00000 = 0.2 mm 0.125 inch (blade with no guard) 000 = 0.5 mm 0.100 inch (blade with no guard) 0A = 1.2 mm (blade with no guard) 1 = 2.4 mm 1A = 3.0 mm 3/8 inch 2 = 6 mm 1/4 inch 3 = 9 mm 3/8 inch 4 = 12 mm 1/2 inch If you own a comercial clipper from a department store cutting with no guard (bare blade) will be a 000 = 0.5 mm 0.100 inch. It varies a bit from one brand of clipper to another and it depends on whether your clippers have movable blades or not. In general, the #1 is 1/8 inch, #2 is 1/4 inch #3 is 1/2 inch, etc. Guards go up to 8 but once you get past #4 you don't get enough tension for a clean cut. The guards usually have the length on them.

It's all simply a matter of personal preference. I have short hair and guys like it. And i prefer a man with short hair over a man with long hair because long curly hair tends to make guys look as well girly.

very long hair is nice but requires servicing and u have to grow that out for a long time
