It is always good advice to have a vet check him out.
It could be a reversable sneeze....MAYBE NOT??? When he starts to weeze - cover his mouth and nose and blow back into his nose. This will interupt the breathing pattern and stop the problem. Sometimes, it takes a try or two - but it works. And feels so good to help - rather than see your poor dog weezing uncontrollably - while just standing there helpless. Hope it works - worth a try!

You can give your pet the Robitussin ,about 1/3 of a teaspoon every 4 to 6 hours. Also Get a baby bottle warmer fill with water and place in the warmer some medicated steam.Place your pet in a small room and have the pet in aq kennel cab,let the pet breath the medicated steam overnight for about 1 wqeek. If you haven't got a bottle warmer you can use a popurri pot with water in it and a candle underneath.Your pet will be better in a few days.If this doesn;t help see your vet.

If this continues for more than about 10 min take him to the vet. Right now offer him some water. He might be trying to throw-up to, watch for him to like curl up his stomach and make hacking noises.

Take him to the vet. It could be kennel cough, something caught in his throat, or a heart condition will make him cough, also. Don't wait, take him now.

Vet, NOW!! He may have either something lodged in his throat, or kennel cough ... NEITHER is good!! Please take care of him right now. If it is after office hours in your area, check the phone book for an emergency animal care clinic.
