Protection of country and we need to support our troops no matter what. I gained respect for them and am very proud of our Troops.

My brother-in-law is one of those who lost their lives. What WE gained was the ability to keep the standard of living we are accustomed to while maintaining our freedom. Go to Iraq for six months and you will completely understand what we gained from them. That was an ignorant self-centered question and an insult to everyone who is currently serving and have served.

No. It wasn't because of us. Feeling guilt is natural, but, those men and women did it for us. They did it because they believe in us. Even in the ugliest and most foul amongst us. That is the price of Freedom. And the most graceful and beautiful thing about it is that they volunteered to do it. They love(d) us that much! Let's love them back! Thank them for what they sacrifice so that we may be so privileged in the world.

the ratio of dead soldiers to dead terrorists is more thant 1 soldier for every 2+ terrorist, every terroist left alive would kill say, 30 people with a bomb, so we gained quite a bit

The war or terror is being fought in Iraq, instead of NYC.
Terrorists are all going there to fight, instead of trying to come here.
