It will not be an overdose. So you are safe.
Vitamin A can accumulate in the liver an cause toxicity. But, this occurs at manyfold higher dose than the RDI. Few other vitamins can cause toxicity. Rarely vit D can. But, you can take a balanced diet and still take vitamin pills.
Minerals can be toxic but again the dose in pills os extremely low.

Well the answer to your que is not simple.the water soluble vitamins B,C etc dont cause overdose toxicity as the excess is excreted in the urine.about vitA,D,E,K which are fat soluble and are retained in the body fat there can b overdose.......in any case it has recently been hypothesised that these multivitamin tablets are just placebos with no or minimum effect on our body cuz due to one reason or the other these vitamins are not taken up by the body and are excreted as it is!
So it is advisable to eat health and nutritious rather then trying to supplement with vit tablets and all

RDIs are no where close to the LOAEL (lowest observed adverse effect level), so there is little to no chance of overdose, even if you are the rare person with a perfect diet. Research has consistently found that the standard American diet results in intakes of most micronutrients at levels below the RDIs. Many newer studies indicate that RDIs for many nutrients are inadequate for optimum health (e.g. maintaining genomic stability, optimizing bone health, etc.).
So, don't worry, take your vitamin/mineral supplements and work very hard at eating a quality diet.

Vitamins A,D,E, and K are fat soluble. The reat are water soluble. Your body will not absorb more than you need of the water soluble, you just pee it out. For the fat soluble , the amount in a normal diet plus regular vitamin pills will not put you over. Overdosing on the pills, like a child finding them and eating like candy can give your hypervitaminosis.

If your diet is already rich in vitamins , then why take in artificial ones? Drugs, even vitamins will always pass through the liver and will always give additional "work" to the liver. If you can have the natural why bother with the artificial?

you are able to over dose on it yet once you're taking water soluble ones and drink a gallon of liquid an afternoon, frequently water then you certainly will bypass it , confident you're throwing away money down the lavatory.
