The brochure says that modern cruise liners have two screws. I've just come back from a cruise and I think it depends on how often you leave your cabin door open. Sorry- I'm still coming down from a heavenly trip.

The Screws are an anoraks term for propellors, nothing to do with the pleasures of the flesh.
The point is cruise ships have more than 1 propellor so losing or damaging 1 will not imeadiately lead to a "Man the Lifeboats""R and MT union members first" situation, yet neither has the ship the Iceberg butting speed potential of the Titanic which had three.
Just remember, before leaving the door open, John Prescott worked on boats before becoming a professional comedian and croquet player.

Sounds like the brochure from Easy Cruise to me. And it's not just the cabin door being open that limits the amount of screws! Did the ship drop anchor in Bumbay?
