i was woundering because this one sit that posts 0-60 and 1/4 mile times said it takes my car 9.6 seconds for 0-60 and i got 12

Optimum fuel, timing in sync, new plugs, proper tire inflation, is your car at the original specs (for example the weight?) as the one specs are listed for? And did you have the same kind of road surface they did? As a vehicle gets older they get worn, depending on how well it was maintained and treated, you could be down on compression in one engine cylinder or getting a weak transmission, slop in the universal joints or differential, etc.

Are you carrying around a bunch of junk in your car? When was the last time you got a tune up? 9.6 is the best case scenario on a well maintained car...if you aren't in that same scenario then you shouldn't expect that same performance.

Ummm… the Sable is a Touring car NOT a Performance car… the reason the speedometer only goes to 85 MPH... go easy on her will ya! ;)
