Recently, I noticed a recipe to make carmalized apples, or something like it. Some of you might have noticed my sweet tooth question earlier, and I was wondering if this was still healthy.

You take apples, add some sugar, and sprinkle each apple slice with cinnamon. Then you heat it in the microwave and extract the apples from the melted sugar substance.

My whole family loves them, including me. They take me minutes to make and are delicious. Are these really bad for me? Should I stick with the pomigranite and pray the stains come out (haha)? Or can I enjoy them without worrying?

I understand the feeling of finding a great recipe and wanting to create it over and over again. Remember to enjoy everything in life in moderation. This is not only better for your health, it will also save you from burning out on this treat.

Not at all. Try pears. I just halve and core them, lay in baking dish. Take some ameretto cookies, pulverize into crumbs, mix with a little butter, cinnamon, and apricot jam. Add a little liquor on top if you like. Bake until soft. Amazing!

apple is good for you..

but too much sugar (apple contains sugar and caramel is purely sugar)is not good for you... firstly the teeth may not like it... then the fats will starts attacking the body and establish the fat territory in the body and you will get fat!!!

well.. if it's a once in a while enjoyment ..like once a week.
it's absolutely okie!! just remember to brush your teeth, and move your body!!

however sharing the food with me, so i can help you minimise the damage????

Healthwise, they are not very good for you, think of your heart, teeth etc with all that sugar but since they are absolutely delicious, why not make them as an occasional treat?

well hmm..Apples are great for you!

sugar is sorta (depending on the sugar you use or even where it comes from)

cinnamon is okay for you

The key to remember is: anything in really large amounts isn't good for you.
