I like this guy and I haven't known him for that long but we're friends and my friends are telling me that I should tell him I like him. I think he may like me, there have been some signs, but as always you never know for sure. I don't want to ruin my friendship with him, but I can't take it anymore I want to tell him, but I want you guys to tell me if it would be okay. Can anyone do that.

You know, I've always been against telling someone that I like her, unless we've already gone out on dates. Often, dropping something like that on someone out of the blue will cause them to bolt. You're going to have to lay the groundwork first; be very flirtatious, see if he returns in kind, but don't be overbearing. Make it seem like it's his idea to do things. For example, you say, "I really want to see such and such movie, but I can't talk anyone into going with me." If he likes you, he'll probably respond saying, "Well, I'll see it with you." And then you're on a date. Of course, that's a very ham-handed example; I'm sure you can come up with more subtle ways to accomplish this.
