I speak two languages. English, to me, is the most concise, the most flexible and the most beautiful of all languages (as far as I know).
Back to English: the problem, I guess, is the verb "speak". What exactly do people mean when they say, for example, that they speak ten or twenty languages? Does it mean that they are able to say just a few sentences in each one? To me, "to speak two languages" means "to be able to communicate in two languages". Also, it takes a lifetime for us to learn two languages. Ten? In my opinion, not possible.
