I speak two languages. English, to me, is the most concise, the most flexible and the most beautiful of all languages (as far as I know). E, além do inglês, eu também falo português. Muita gente acha que o português é, também, uma língua muito melodiosa. É, talvez sim. Mas o inglês, sem dúvida, é "páreo duro".

Back to English: the problem, I guess, is the verb "speak". What exactly do people mean when they say, for example, that they speak ten or twenty languages? Does it mean that they are able to say just a few sentences in each one? To me, "to speak two languages" means "to be able to communicate in two languages". Also, it takes a lifetime for us to learn two languages. Ten? In my opinion, not possible.
