Does anyone know of a program that will reboot, or shut down with out consent when activated? I found a program called rebooter but it asked for consent. I want a hard boot too, not the XP confirmation screen.

Thanks

You can initiate it from a command prompt, even from another computer.

Start > Run > type "CMD" (no quotes)

then type "shutdown /?" without the quotes to give you all the options.

EDIT: You could also make this a batch file to run based on an event (time, etc). Simply open notepad, type your command just like you were using the command prompt, and save it with a BAT extension (Example: REBOOT.BAT)

If your computer is not working properly while you are working on it, it could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software.
