Use the missed time a growing point for your young relationship. Allowing him time with his family without much fuss shows great maturity. Be sure to tell him to have fun and try to stay in touch. You will grow greatly from this.

Does his parents know that you have a 3 year old? Some parent think that there son shouldnt date another girl that has a son. But if they do then try to see if you can go with your boyfriend to spend the holidays with his family and your could bring your child.. But you shouldnt even be mad..

I used to think this was a big deal.. now I realize that it's not. Try to spend a special day or night together before he goes away. And try to talk on the phone, or IM when you're apart. This happens to lots of couples. My boyfriend and I will be spending our second Christmas separately this year. No biggie.

Look at all these sorts of questions. 99% of the time it is the man who won't spend time with the woman and the woman who is hurt.
Look at the sex of the people who answer these questions. The men say, "Enjoy your time apart" and the women say, "Of course you should be hurt. Why wouldn't he want to be with you on the biggest day of the year?"

No you shouldn't. Maybe you should have some family come over and spend time with you while he spends time with his family. After all, you probably see him more than his family does these days.

No you shouldn't be upset. There are other holidays that the two of you can spend together.

okay its good you care about him but give the boy space. If he needs to spend time with family he should and so should you. Plus you have a son/ daughter that you need to take care of.

why can't you bring your child with you? travel fare for toddles isn't that much and if he loves you he would want to spend the holiday with his "family" aka you and your child or make it so that all of you can be together.

Well, sweetheart, at this time in your relationship, I think that you should be thinking of your family also and allow him to have his time with his family. After all it won't be forever ya know...
