Yes, as long as it is the formula made for cats. If your cats are kittens, do not use any type of flea shampoo on them. Check with a vet if you need to de-flea a kitten.

I have heard a lot of negative things about Hartz products, and there's even a website devoted to "Hartz Victims." My aunt used the shampoo on two of our kittens when we first got them (a year and a half ago), and they're fine. They showed no negative symptoms. So, I don't know. I would just tell you to go with Frontline. It's safe and reliable.

Hartz puts out a type of "spot on" flea prevention. It's called "Bio-Spot" and is a lethal knock-off of "Advantage/Frontline" type products. It HAS killed pets, and even sickened children! The flea soap is OK, as long as it's used properly. It's just that flea soap doesn't solve flea infestations. It doesn't work, so why use it? Why make it? It's pointless. I do think they should be out of business because of "Bio-Spot" and the sickness and death it has caused. Meow mix can lead to health problems, they know some of their ingredients aren't good for pets, yet they don't change their products. Yes, they too should be out of business.

stay away from the hertz products. if your bathing your cat cause of fleas use dawn dish detergent then go to vet and get some frontline for him. and vacuum your house really good and take out the bag when done cause the fleas can get out of the vacuum. vet tech
