Me and my friend both "like" eachother and he has asked me to be his gf a few times but then he said that he didnt want to ruin our friendship, and i kinda agree , but last night we spent some time together and i think that i really want him to be my bf. What should i say to him or should i just stay friends??

if you just want to stay friends then you should, b/c if you go out and it don't work out what then your friendship will not be as it was.

I had a similar situation. I have this best friend whose a guy and I've known him since 3rd grade. Well 8 years later , I guess he finally came out of him shyness and told me he liked me. It was sooooo sweet especially since he told me on my bday and took me out to dinner the day after b/c I had my own party. Things have gone awesome so far and I hope they will stay like that. What was even better was that Homecoming was a week after and we shared our 1st kiss and dance together. Its like a Happily Ever After story. Who knows it might happen for you too! Go for it!

Yea, go for it. There's no reason that it should ruin the friendship. True it will be different and more emotional, but you should stay friends with every human lthat it's possible to be friends with.

Take the initiative. Just come out and tell him your feelings. You may lose a friendship, but you may also miss out on the potential love of your life. Many good marriages come out of people who were friends first.

You should tell him, wouldn't you hate to be wondering in the years to come, he could get a girlfriend himself and how would this make you feel. Also any guy who truly liked you in that way would say screw the friendship, this might just workout. You can do it

I think you should follow your heart. Be sure to have an open line of communication from the start and let him know you would like to see where things lead and that you do not want to jeopardize your friends status.
