They are in favor of a "path to citizenship" (DNC Website) which is the same thing as Bush's "guest worker program". Look for amnesty coming up.

I am very much against amnesty. It was done by Reagan in the 80's and was the worst message ever given to illegals. If they come here they will at some point get to stay freely without reservations. If you give an inch they take a mile. I do think that most here now can and should be deported. Any time anyone is known to be illegal they are immediately detained and kept in holding until enough and then that group is deported and on and on. Many who get deported will take members of their family back so you kill many with one stone. Anyone who says you cannot round them up and deport just doesn't want to. They are liars, cheaters, and criminals. No one who is illegal can be a good person. They committed a crime and so how is that a good person? Maybe they won't committ another crime but they have already committed a major one by breaking and entering illegally. That is a crime and doing that alone constitutes being a criminal.

Which democrats?
I'm a Dem and not for Amnesty per se. There has to be some punishment for breaking our laws. That said, we can't reasonably try to deport 11-20 million illegals.
Secure the borders
Crack down on Employers who hire illegals
Some form of getting legal for those here already-- fines, no citizenship
Immigration policy changes - guest worker program, larger quotas for some countries, more efficient immigration processes.

The Democrates embrace illlegal immigrants with open arems. This problem will now disappear or go on the back burner. Democrat or Republican we all lose and our taxes will continue for illegals for benefits our citizens so not receive, i.e. free heath care. Also, terrorists will find it much easier to enter the Country. I'm afraid we will be giving them a 'no stop' pass but I surely hope I am wrong. I will watch diligently.

Not all are.
The easiest solution to the immigration problem is to cut off the demand. Once we start heavily fining and imprisoning employers who hire the illegal immigrants, the problem will be minimized.
No jobs for illegal immigrants=far fewer illegal immigrants
Amnesty is an insult to those who follow the laws.

It varies by the particular democratic party member you happen to be talking to at the time.
At this point, the day after a major election, the party has not yet adjusted any previous statements on the topic. Watch the democratic party website to see what happens next

against and that i'm a Libertarian. i comprehend that alot of human beings have faith we Libertarians % complete and complete anarchy, yet that only isn't genuine. I comprehend that government has a function, basically an extremely limited one and part of that function is protecting our borders. A usa without borderlines will quickly quit to be a rustic because of the fact infinite immigration can't be sustained. this is fact.
