I love tapenade!!!! Here is the one I make and I put it on bruschetta with a slice of tomato and some fresh basil.
1 cup kalamata or niscoise olives rough chopped
2 tablespoons capers
1 clove garlic minced
2 tablespoons or so olive oil
salt and pepper to taste
a few leaves of fresh basil can be added
place all of the ingredients in a food processor except the olive oil and pulse a few times then while pulsing add the olive oil slowly. refrigerate for at least 1/2 hour and use as you like. It is really good over asparagus too if you add a bit more olive oil it makes it more like a dressing.

Get some really good olives from your local deli or olive bar. Include the ones that are marinated w/ hot pepper flakes, if you can get 'em! Then make sure all pit are removed. Very easy, just rub the flat of your blade on them til pit pops out.
Drop your olives into your food processor (about 1/3 lb.), with 3 cloves of garlic (u can leave 'em whole), 1/2 cup fresh flat leaf parsley, 3 anchovies (the kind in that flat tin in oil), 1/4 cup sundried tomatoes, 1/4 tsp. salt & 1/2 tsp. black pepper.
Start your food processor and drizzle in extra virgin olive oil in a thin stream while it's blending. It's fabulous and soooo easy! For a bit more sweetness, add 3 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar
