Individual dogs are scared of different things just as individual people are. I've had dogs who didn't mind thunder, and other dogs who'd cower under the bed when they heard it. So, the answer is, it depends on the dog involved.

It really totally depends on the dog, I have three dogs and they are all scared by very different things. Really high pitched noises are terrible for a dog while some are scared of stangers and some are scared of loud noises, while some are scared of bugs or littler dogs, who knows until you get to know your own dog you won't find a clear answer

Different dogs are scared of different things. My first dog was scared of the vaccuum cleaner and balloons, while my current dog thinks both are fascinating toys. My current dog is afraid of the Kitchenaid mixer and a bit nervous about the blender and food processor. Both dogs have been afraid of fireworks and storms with thunder and lightening.

Depends on what they are exposed to. There is very few things that they are naturally afraid of. There are very much like people in this way.
