for the past 3-4 days I have had this feeling of my pulse in my neck even when I am not touching it. My only conclusion is either stress or hypertension(my bp is a bit high at 145/81) im 19, and understandably a bit young for problems of this nature. but I just wonder if it is a problem i should see my doctor about? my parents claim i am being a "pussy", but it is a serious concern for me.

If you feel that this problem is not normal for you then my advise would be to go to the doctor. I have had that happen and it was a anxiety attack. You would be surprised how many people old or young have them. IF it continues the doctor will put you on a medication to help you feel better. Dont worry what your parents say its your body not theirs good luck and I hope you feel better.

Don't pay attention to what other's say. Even if you are a nut case, go see a doctor ASAP. Even nutcases have real medical problems!

145/81 isn't hypertension..and it's probably just you're pulse
if you're really concerned you can go see a doctor, but it's probably just stress making your heartbeat faster.
