i'm trying to locate the navel records of my father.. he served during the koren conflic u.s.n. in 1950-51??udt, lt.cmdr.

You want the US Naval Bureau of Personnel.

Is your father still living? If he is, he can request the records from Archives. If not, you can request them. Go to http://www.archives.gov/index.html and it will provide you the forms for filling them out. They typically cost about $20 for a complete copy of any records they have.
