Instead of a straight braid down you interweave (pick up) the hair. there are a couple of good sites that tell you how to do it.
Buy a doll with the biggest head and the most hair that you can find (or a mannequin head). If you know someone with a daughter they may be willing to let you use their daughter as your practice head with free hairdos every week

it as simple as this all you have to do is braid reagular but keep piking up hair thats the bast way i can explain it, but if you don't get it i think you should stop trying because i put it in the simplest way in form.
