Almost a year ago on answers I told a lie to make a point. Not knowing I would fall in love with one of the answerer's. We are going to meet soon and I need to tell the truth. It is eating me alive. He would be so disappointed in me. What can I do? He will find out the truth if I don't tell him. I'm so scared! The worse thing is I'm not a kid, I'm 58 years old.

Hopefully the communcation between you is strong enough to bear out the truth. If he indeed will find this truth on his own - then be up front now and share your weekness with him. Intimacy is a specail place and it takes courage to go there for booth. But it's in the "IN TO ME THAT I LET YOU SEE" (Intimacy) that loving strength is born and takes hold.

This is not an easy one as you are in a Quagmire. You have been chatting this person for some time now, so there must be some way you can tell them the truth !

If you are going to meet this person the conversation must have been good for them to make a point on wanting to see you.

The truth is the best way to go. If you really love this man and he truely loves you hopefully you come clean with your lie won't come between you two. But all depends on the love there and what kind of lie you told. I mean lieing is wrong all the way around you should come clean.
