I see Bush is happy as a pig in mud. With the House Republicans out of the way he can now count on presenting his "good friend" Vincente Fox with a brand, new amnesty for the 25,000,000 illegal aliens who have invaded our country.
When do you think Congress will have the bill ready to sign?
My guess..... Cinco de Mayo, 2007.
Who knows, maybe Bush is going to move to Mexico after his term is up.

One more thing. My wife is a legal immigrant and naturalized citizen. The wait for her to sponsor her siblings LEGALLY is 22 years. She applied for them back in 1991. With luck they'll get their visas in 2013. While they are waiting they're not allowed to come here even for a visit.

Nothing will be done either way... The status que will continue and honest U.S. citizens will continue to pay and have to adjust to a new language, higher taxes, overcrowded schools, a decline in educational standards, overcrowded emergency room and hospitals, overcrowded prisons, a higher homicide rate, overburdened law enforcement agencies, a drastically backlogged legal system. We, the citizens of the U.S. will need to pay the bills and make all the concessions.
Too bad neither party really wants to tackle this issue. We, my fellow citizens, are truly the victims. We elect people that really won't face the issues that are important to us and our concerns will not be addressed. Our Country as we know it will become history in a very few years.

i imagine the bill must be truth-depending. there is really no way conceivable to guard a 2500 mile lengthy border thoroughly. progression a "fence" might want to value trillions of money. or perhaps then, what about the Northern border, it really is even larger? the finest bill is one which looks at what's solid for the rustic as an total; not one particular political party. Any bill it really is brought on really by political issues (we ought to "win over" the Hispanics; or deny Democrats further voters), could rightly fail.

People do not understand that if let these unapproved people stay here that It makes people who are trying to do things the right way wait longer. And once these new citizens are approved there will be a new wave of illegals and it will start all over again.

I hope that this doesn't happen.
Our country, I believe, won't stand for it. At least not by those who have a full understanding, and an awareness of what that will do to each and everyone of us.
