okay, i have figured it out
its not a cavity it was a part of my selences that fell out of my teeth, i am scared though that it will turn into a cavity. how do i prevent this? i brush my teeth like obbsessively. i had a very small one or it had a chance of becoming a cavity
the dentist sealed it though so. i am going to the dentist and getting it re-sealed but how can i help prevent from not getting cavities?

There is no way to reverse a cavity, but you can slow it down. Rinse with a flouride treatment. There are over the counter products such as ACT flouride rinse.

The tooth will need to be cleaned out and be restored w/ a filling. The sooner you go to the dentist the better. A small pin point cavity will require no anesthesia and will cost less. If you wait, you may be looking at anesthesia and more money out of your pocket. Fillings are priced on surfaces. Right now you probably have a one surface filling....but as time goes on it will turn into more surfaces. The surfaces of your tooth are Occlusal-chewing surface, Buccal or facial- cheek side, Lingual-tongue side, Mesial- interproximal surface closest to the midline, Distal-interproximal surface farthest from the midline. The midline is between your 2 top and 2 bottom front teeth.

I hope I was of some help. Talk to your friend as well. I am only a dental assistant. He may know some new technology that I am not aware of.

There is no way to get rid of a cavity without going to the dentist for treatment. Cavities are holes in the enamel of your teeth...it isn't something that can grow back or you can put a band aid on and it will go away. The longer you wait to treat it the worse it will get and you could loose your tooth...GO TO THE DENTIST.

Use Oral B Antibacterial Fluoride rinse daily. Turn the bottle to the back and look at the ingredients. It should have 0.05% NaF (sodium fluoride). Use this nightly after brushing and flossing and have nothing to eat or drink after. After weeks of doing this, the cavity may reverse. However if the cavity is into the dentin (the inner part of the tooth, past the enamel), then you have no hope. Sorry.

You can not get it fixed any good way but to go to a dentist.

You CAN keep it from getting much bigger by being very diligent to brush your teeth (with lots of toothpaste and a really good toothbrush) three times a day and by brushing in a very diligent and thorough manner.

But the cavity will always be there. If you do the above, it just won't grow.

There's no way to reverse a cavity. You can prevent them through proper oral hygiene, but the only way to treat one that's already developed is to see a dentist. I know that's not what you wanted to hear, but it's the truth.
