I think they often are, for the following reasons-
1. That person will have no experience, and will therefore be unable to bring any skill to the sex act.
2. It places an excess burden on the sex act. IIn the end, sex is just sex. By insisting on keeping it so "special", you are making it more important than it should be.
3. Some people are more sexually compatable than others. Surely it is better t find this out before you marry?
4. It is irritating because it is unnatural. It is normal for people to desire sex and to wish to consummate that desire, and this is harmless, if done in the right context. Denying smeone sex causes annoyance and anger.
5. It appears from some of the answers that sex is used as a form of control by the answerer, because essentially they distrustdislike men, or sex or both. They believe that unless they withold sex their men will use them, and tire of them, and not bother to get t know them.
Of course this might be true sometimes, but it is paranoid and controlling to believe that it is usually or normally the case.

No, I wouldn't be put off.
If the couple indulges in regular pre-marital sex, the novelty and excitement wears off after marriage, and the temptation to look elsewhere becomes great. This ruins a marriage. Pre-marital sex has its price.
Remember, marriage is much more than sexual gratification. It is building a common life by sharing your individual lives with each other. Sex only keeps it going until a certain stage, after which even that is not so important. But all this can never happen if the individuals are not happy with each other in the first place.
So don't be afraid to state your view clearly if that's what you strongly believe in. If he does not respect you, he's probably not worth it.

I don't think a man would be turned off by that, but it's very difficult to understand, specially as you grow older. Many men will think that your conviction is just inocence and will try to school you and "free" you from your own insecurities, so it's not actually a turn-off (others will immediately think you are just like the aunt that nobody likes and be totally turned off).
Besides, there is ample gray area of what can be considered "sex", so you should check how far you want to go (from passionate kissing to the actual intercourse).
If as far as you want go can satisfy the man you are dating and he loves you deeply, he will surely wait and understand. After all, many men prefer to marry "good girls".

I am. I suppose you will construe this as a sign that men only want one thing. I have found that women who want to wait until marriage are pr*ck teasers of the worst kind, they kiss, cuddle and grope until a good head of sexual steam builds up and then the shutters come down. Then they say that they don't want to lead men on? The last one that did that got a fat lip. It was no more than she deserved either.

Yes.
I've been with virgins before and it is a very difficult thing to deal with. I prefer a woman who is comfortable and confident in herself, as well as her sexuality. To me, the desire to wait until marriage betrays an immaturity and an unfair presumption that marriage will last forever and the person the virgin is waiting for will be perfect, a prince charming. I am not anyone's "everything." I'm just myself.

Only the shallow ones. Unfortnatly those guys are the ones that are most girls end up with. In highschool that's the guy all the girls want to date. I'm not talking about the guy that all the girls are friends with. And the rest of the guys who aren't mostly end up as "just a friend." I'm one of those guys that aren't. I have friends who say they would go out with me but never do.

Most men do want to get down the pants of girls. You are right to wait. The payoff is worth more than periodic orgasims from various BF's. For now, if they insist, perhaps you can just give them a hand job.

maybe some men are but you shouldn't worry about what they think. You should never listen to anyone but your self on this. each person has different values and beliefs. don''t just think you are forced to be a certain way because others tell you to be like that. you're not forced to do anything you don't want to!

It would depend on whether they are looking for sex or marriage. Those looking to marry you may not be, but those looking just for sex, always will be.
