How do i take it off

I tried to download power point 2003 on to my computer and it says " THe windows installer service could not be accessed. This can occur if you are running awindows in safe mode, or windows installer is not installed corectly."-HOw do i turn it off

* Click Start, Run and type MSCONFIG in the box and click OK
* In the System Configuration Utility, on the General Tab, click the Advanced Button
* In the Advanced Troubleshooting Settings dialog box, uncheck Enable Startup Menu. Click OK. Click OK again when the System Configuration Utility reappears.
* You will be prompted to restart the computer. Click Yes. The computer will restart in normal mode.

What operation system do you have. Instructions for Win XP: Start ->run ->type msconfig ->the system configuration utility comes up. Click the tab at the top Boot.ini - > uncheck /safeboot -> click ok -> click the box that will restart the system.

most of the time if you reset your computer it will boot up in normal mode

failing this reset and the instant it comes on tab the F8 key on the keyboard till it brings you a menu and select boot in last known good configuration...
