Depends upon if you are the Male or the Female.
If you are the female, you wait until the male takes the initiative to express his feelings with words and/or esthetics that he may have in place (romantic setting, flowers, etc).
If you are the male, then you need to look at the relationship squarely and with logic firstly. Don't let your hormones sweep you away into more of a "lust" rathar than a "deep love" emotional high. See if you can project her into your life as the mother of your children, attending Church/Mass/Temple together, approaching ill health and aging together, unemployment, debts, moves, likes and dislikes. If you are deeply and happily in love with the woman, if you can see sharing all of your hopes and dreams with her, if she is your best friend with whom you can share your innermost fears and pull strength from her, then she is right for you.
I have found that the marriages that last are the ones whereby the Male is [believe it or not...] more in love with the Female than vice-versa. We females are very adaptable and compromise, even happily, to have that special man to love. Men seem to fall in love only once, whereby we females seem to be able to do so a few times in our life - to bounce back many times when we fall for him, but it's not the same for he.
The important thing is that you be Equally Yoked - with God as the central focus. With God at the helm, then you should be able to weather any storm that life brings about.
So how long should you wait? Guys - you'll know the right time. Gals - after he has already pledged you his love. If you tell him before he has made up his mind that you love him, he will feel somewhat pressured and pressed to react. Allow a man his time to come about in his heart.

There is no time limit on love! You could fall in love two days after you meet the guy (not likely, but it happens), or it may take a longer time. A kind of awkward example to give you...when I was in high school, I was dating someone rather seriously. He would meet me outside of my chemistry class everyday and we would chat, and all that good stuff. Well, one day in chem class, it hit me like a ton of bricks. I got a pit in my stomach, and didn't know what to do. I wanted to break up with him. (I know awkward example, but I ma getting to the point). Every now and then I think about it, and if breaking up with someone hit me that hard, then the moment that you fall in love must be fantastic.
So, follow your heart, and you will know!

Theres no time limit, but you should feel comfortable telling him, and make sure he feels the same.Theres nothing worse than telling a guy you love him and they say they dont love you,I was with a guy for two years and he told me he loved me everyday,then one day i said it to him and he told me he didnt feel the same (it hurts) . so dont rush into it, believe me you will know when you truely love someone and you will just blurt it out without even realising, and i bet he says it back to you!!

There is no set time. As long as you really truly love this person and they really truly love you back and you are positive that the relationship is sturdy and read for the next step!

Depends. I don't think no one can tell you the exact no. of days, months, or years. The degree of which varies, depending upon what kind of person you are and what kind of person he/she is. Don't worry, you'll know it when the time's right. Your heart will tell you :)

Til they say it to you, or they seem like they expect you to say it. Say it whenever in my opinion. Its just words. Love is proved in actions, words mean nothing, no matter what teenage girls and/or watchers of sex in the city would have you believe!lol

i think you should tell some one you love them when your heart beats fast. when you see them when you look in their eyes and you melt . when you kiss them and you lose that time . you will know when the time is right when i did it just came out
